Ladies' Aid

The purpose of Ladies’ Aid is to promote the spiritual enrichment of the women in our congregation and to assist in the shepherding of the members of the church. They send contributions on a quarterly basis (1 mission each quarter) to Oblong Children’s Christian Home, Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch and Hands for Jesus. Each mission receives a contribution in the last quarter of the year at Christmas.

Ladies’ Aid also contributes, as needed or upon request, to Oil Belt Christian Service Camp and where other needs are seen. The group also provides gifts to our senior church members at Christmas as well as others in need. They are also responsible for sending flowers and cards to those in the hospital and to those who have lost loved ones.

All women that are members of our church are eligible to become members of Ladies’ Aid. Non-members who are willing to contribute in all plans and desire to serve to the best of their ability are also welcomed for membership.

Meetings are held once a month at 6:30 p.m. (with the exception of November and December). At each meeting the ladies have a Bible study, a business meeting and a time of fellowship. Officers of this organization include president, vice-president, secretary/treasurer and assistant secretary/treasurer.
